This section of the store provides a great many opportunities for Corporate and Allied Agency Partners to sponsor specific events associated with our annual Convention and Conference which will be held in Ocean City, Maryland, from June 12th to the 18th, 2011. The Convention Committee has created this event sponsorship program to allow our partners to take advantage of the marketing and awareness capabilities we are providing to our supporters in an effort to promote their products, services, and relevant information to our membership. Individual and co-branded event sponsorships are available for each activity. Questions can be referred to the committee at MSFAConvention@msfa.org.
Officers Banquet $10,000

Kicking off the annual convention on Saturday evening is the Joint Officers Banquet. At this event, the Officers of the MSFA and Ladies Auxiliary break bread together and celebrate the accomplishments of the year. Many state and local government officials attend this �by invitation only� event along with MSFA Committee Chairs, allied agency representatives, and out-of-state fire officials. Sponsorship of this event includes unique marketing opportunities and select attendance to the event.

Fireworks Display $7,500

On Monday evening, we include in the week-long activities a Festive Fireworks Display executed on the water in Ocean City. This display can include your corporate name or logo either as a start or end to the display. One of the unique opportunities with this sponsorship is that the show will be seen by the general public along with the fire service community.

Throughout the course of the week, a series of events are provided to the membership of the MSFA. Each event is targeted to deliver a special educational or convention activity based upon the scheduled time it occurs or the anticipated audience who will attend. Events that can be hosted include the following: Educational Seminars; Family Picnic; Fire Service Parade; General Program Agenda; Golf Tournament; Membership Beach Party; Prayer Breakfast; Program Coffee Service and Basket Bingo Game. Each of these activities will be supported either through a grouping of joint sponsorships or each one is exclusively being offered for sponsorship. Event exclusivity includes unique marketing and awareness opportunities for the supporter and program time to deliver a specialty message to the attendees.

Vendor Reception $2,500

On Tuesday afternoon, the MSFA Officers, and Convention Committee Personnel organize an outdoor reception for all of the vendors and exhibitors who are displaying during the conference. This event provides networking opportunities to the companies and individuals who are exhibiting both in the exhibit halls and outside the convention center. Sponsorship of this reception will provide the supporter an opportunity to market their own products and services, along with an opportunity to address the attendees.

Family Memorial Service $1,000.00

On Sunday evening the general membership of the MSFA come together to individually remember each of our members that has passed away in the past year. In addition, at this event those brave individuals who died in the line of duty during 2009 will be honored as well. Sponsorship of this event will provide the families of these honored individuals with a special and unique event to remember their loved ones. This event typically draws well over 1,000 people.

Golf Tournament Foursome $280.00

On Friday, ending the week�s activities, a benefit golf tournament is held at Eagle�s Landing Golf Course in West Ocean City. The tournament benefits the programs provided by the MSFA to support the state fire service community. Registration for this day of golf includes food and beverage hospitality for a four person team of players.

Each year the MSFA produces a Convention and Conference Program Book that is provided to every officer, delegate, and corporate partner of the association. Advertising opportunities through full-page black and white ads are a great way to share information throughout the week-long activities and beyond as these program books return to the home fire departments of the attendees.

Even the smaller levels of support provide a return on investments for contributors and supporters. By becoming a patron of the MSFA Convention and Conference, donors will be recognized in a special section of the Annual Program Book.
